Cash in on fantastic grant funding to boost your shop front

If you run a business on Dovercourt High Street, you have the chance to grab some cash to improve your shop front!

Grants to provide funding for up to £10,000 are being made available for businesses in Dovercourt High Street as part of the Shopfront and Interior Improvement Grant Scheme.

The boost is available to businesses with shop fronts located in Dovercourt town centre in which the money will be allocated to projects designed to improve shop appearances and customer experiences.

Projects can include painting and repair work, window and door repairs, unfixed external signage and planters, shelving and display units, and tables and chairs.

Within the scheme, standard grant funding will see all agreed projects receive up to £2,500, while a match funding option will match fund half the costs over the initial £2,500 fund up to the value of £10,000. 

The scheme is part of the High Street Accelerator programme, a major investment of £737,000 to support Dovercourt High Street.

Applications can be made by completing a simple application form for submission to Tendring District Council, including pictures relating to the require work and two quotes to complete the proposed work.
