Join Dramatic Pause Productions as we travel back to the funky 1970s to present William Shakespeare’s classic comic tale of love, banter, misdirection and betrayal.
Featuring two contrasting romances; the hasty engagement of Hero and Claudio, and the slow burn battle of wits between confirmed singles, Beatrice and Benedick.
But the course of true love never does run smooth, especially when a spiteful, resentful villain plots to sabotage the upcoming wedding and cause havoc.
This classic comedy explores the themes of love, honour, trust and shame and asks the question what happens when a little bit of ‘nothing’ (rumour) causes a lot of fuss?
