A selection of archive films from the Imperial war Museum vaults that share the story of the German U Boat campaign in the First World War. An entertaining mix of propaganda pieces and action films about the war at sea, shipbuilding and food shortages during the war. Find out more about how the German U Boat fleet played a special role locally in the centenary of the end of the First world war. The films will be accompanied by a special exhibition on the German U Boats and an exhibition on cinema in the First World War.
