Event Details

The G.E.R. steamship Berlin left Harwich for the Hoek of Holland Wednesday night, February 20th, 1907.
The vessel encountered a violent north-westerly gale immediately on leaving Harwich, but on arriving off the Hoek in the early morning all on board imagined that their trouble was over.
Bringing together pictures, accounts of the harrowing final journey of the SS Berlin, David Whittle will reveal all about the disaster in this fascinating talk.
Seats are limited so please book by emailing [email protected].
