Join us for the Witches of Harwich Talk, to explore the repeated persecution of women accused of witchcraft during England’s turbulent social upheavals. Discover how the invention of the printing press, the rise of scientific thought, the shift from herbal traditions to formal medicine, and the political chaos of the English Civil War fuelled these tragic events.
