Welcome to our new website! As well as loads of information about Dovercourt and Harwich, the website will also create a comprehensive directory of Dovercourt businesses… and we want you to be a part of that.
We are encouraging our town centre businesses to register their details so we can build a database of destinations which will be useful for both residents and visitors to the area.
It’s free for businesses to register and we hope our new website will become the go to place for information, as well as featuring news and views from across this fabulous seaside resort.
Our great new website is just one of the projects being supported by Tendring District Council as part of the High Street Accelerator scheme, which is working to revitalise Dovercourt town centre and celebrate the area as part of the tourism map of the Tendring peninsula.
The website has been made possible thanks to funding as part of the High Street Accelerator programme. Dovercourt was selected as one of ten pilot towns across the country to receive the funding and a total of £737,000 has been ring-fenced to support the town centre.
