Event Details
The Sprint 15 class catamaran fleet will descend on Harwich for their annual championships. They will be accommodated on St Helen’s Green by kind permission of TDC.
We expect about 45 of these two men dinghies to compete and some will be accompanied by families. The boats will launch on Harwich Beach and be accompanied out to Dovercourt Bay by race support boats and should make a fine spectacle both going out and coming back and out in the Bay.
This is a prestigious event for our Club and many club volunteers will be assisting to make this work. It is also an important fund raising activity to keep the Club in good financial health.
